Abstract: A possibility has been shown to determine a molecular-mass distribution of acrylamide co-polymers with acrylates of ammonium and/or alkaline metals in water-salt solutions of a different composition usinq gel-penetrating chromatography technique. A mean value of a molecular mass and a character of molecular-mass distribution of a commercial polyacrylamide have been established to be changed insufficiently under alkaline hydrolysis. In the case of acrylamide co-polymer prepared as a result of alkaline hydrolysis of a commercial polyacrylamide and polyacrylonitrile fibre Nitrone C mean values of a molecular-mass a e (1 6-1 8V10S and (1,0-3,3)-10 , respectively.
