Abstract

In the article the work done by the chair of the Theory of Literature founded in September 1, 1994 is analysed; the trends of the chair’s scientific stuff work are revealed, the Infonriation about the teamwork elaborations under the title ‘Theoretical Problems of the Development of Belorusian Written Language and Culture" (1995-2000) and The Easten Slavonic Interliterary Community of the XX century" (1998-2000) is given. It is reported that since 2001 the chair stuff has started to work on a new team-work theme entitled The Typology of Means of Artistic Representation in Literature and Folklore”.
