Abstract: In this paper, methods of operative analysis of terrain state based on models of digital terrain maps and aero- and space photographs are presented and described. Three main methods are considered. There are method of 3D analysis of relief terrain, method of joint processing remote sensing data and digital terrain maps, method of modelling dynamics of terrain state in the paper. Software and information complex using these methods are desribed. Examples of applications of these methods are given.
