dc.description.abstractThe influence of temperature of the synthesis on the structural features and gas sensitive properties of SnO2, prepared by hydrolysis of SnSO4 solution and thermal treatment of Sn(OH)2, has been studied. Temperature of the synthesis within 500÷800 °C influences on the structural and phase composition of the samples, particle size, surface state and the presence of the structural defects. The increasing of sensitivity of the finely dispersed samples to CH4 in the presence of – SO -groups x on the surface has been established. The SnO2 samples with the highest concentration of the structural defects have the highest sensitivity to CO.ru
